Thanks everyone for your input , I originally bought the AVerMedia c285 and it came with no cables to hook it up so I then sent it back and ordered the AVerMedia c281 which came with no remote control (it's essential) needless to say that pissed me off and got sent back too! I've now went for the Elgato HD 60 a little more expensive but hoping I can actually start to shoot some clips with you guys! cheers folks
