    what i found too when dealing with HQ clips is that you have more options as far as adjusting different levels goes.

    Like in my mini ramp vid that will be coming out soon, i've lowered the exposure by 10%, boosted the contrast by 10%, and boosted the color by 20%, and it looks so much better, its really amazing.

    what converter was that from? I expect diferent converters would need diferent "ideal" adjustments

    I use visual hub, have used it since Skate 2.

    I guess every converter is different, but a good one should have it looking just like it does on skate reel, no quality loss, or any other differences. Which mine does.

    oh yeah mac boy lol.

    Serously as I dont hate the macs, I need to learn to get the right settings on the colour changer so I can get a nice picture

    so what exactly is it that you are not liking about the quality?

    To blurry, washed out, ect?

    how about showing an example.

    if you want you can send me the FLV, i'll convert it, tell you what i did and send it back.

    although i wouldn't really be able to tell you what i did render wise, Imovie has convenient render presets, (small, medium, large , HD ect)
