    Default What's your set up?

I'm currently getting a new one tomorrow, so I thought I'd see what everyone else is rocking. Post your set up, maybe even a picture of it.
Do you have any special grip techniques?
Any special board set up techniques?
    Any good luck charms?
How do you ride your trucks?
Do you like graphics on your trucks?

    Just go all out, haha.

    8" Creature Kills deck
    Indys
    Spitfires
One green bolt (back truck, left side, bottom)

Used to write on my griptape but not anymore, which is why I have the bolt.

    Antwuan Dixon Thunders (loose)

Fairly new setup can't wait for the snow to start melting so I can actually skate it.

Wheels look a little big, so do the trucks.
    What size is the board?

I just broke my shop board today. I get a lot of old school board, not a lot of actual set ups. I'm going to start skating 8s instead of 8.5s though.

8.5s are pretty hard to flip since I don't have that big of feet, they're also pretty damn heavy. 8.3 is the biggest I'd go if I was skating tranny and street. But when I skate tranny I like old school boards. 9.5 to a 10.

Lil guy: Some random toys r us deck, 3.5 Krux, Wide soft cruisin wheels, maybe spitfires but they were hand-me-downs so I'm not sure.

Serious bizness: 8.0 35th Ave shop deck, 3.5 Krux, 60mm Autobahn wheels.

Loose trucks on both. Little writing on the grip, usually some inside joke that everybody asks about and I regret within a few days.

Can't wait for winter to be over

8" Underworld Board (local shop), 52mm Universe Wheels (local shop), Medium-ride Independent trucks (medium tight, but front truck is looser than back truck), Shake Junt bearings.

Trucks are pretty much brand new, and the board is pretty new too (might not look like it, but it is fairly new lol) Only thing I have to change are the wheels and bearings

I ride an 8.0 with 56mm Bone street formula wheels. I got these sick pink bolts on the tail and green on the nose.
I ride the trucks mad tight. MOB grip. Almost boards all the time.

Usually, I fucking hate Theeves. But these grind really smoothy, they really light and they feel super sturdy under my feet. I ride my trucks super loose, and the Bones bushings fit perfectly in these with no problems. I almost got the hollow forged Indys, but they seemed a little fragile. These Theeves are super nice, I'm going to try a few wallies soon and see if they work for wallies. Some trucks like ventures don't work out too well for wallies.

Thought I'd bump this up since I've noticed we have some new members.
    Currently I'm skating a:
7.5 Enjoi Bag of Suck deck.
    Royal 4 standards (Raw)
and 50mm Chris Haslam Momentum wheels (BUY THESE!)
Rocking the Mikey Taylor LS, as well.

Got that Jose Rojo set up =P

I was surprised. They're really soft but slide amazingly. They're one of those wheels you need to break in though with a couple 360s and 180s.

I love Thunder trucks. Have you seen the new Ellington truck? It's pretty much the same thing.
