    Default Attention everybody!!! *VERY IMPORTANT*

EVERYONE! Bill S.978 is in the works. This bill would allow the government to lock up Americans for streaming videos or music online, and is so overly broad that people who post videos of their friends singing karaoke could be prosecuted. This legislation is a tremendous overreach and I am deeply concerned by the danger it poses to Internet freedom. YouTube and gaming could be in danger! Which means if we upload a fakeskate video it would be copyright and also the music to go with it would be too. We could spend up to 5 years in jail for uploading a video of us skating in these games. Please spread the word about this or were all fucked!

Oh yea and video games with violence and cursing will be banned too. Oh wait, they realized that was stupid too. Don't worry, if something like this would happen, there would likely be riots. The American government can be stupid at times, but they aren't THAT stupid.

So ... Streaming in general? Cause thats why the internet is here in the first place right to stream and sell porn.. Streaming illegally is streaming illegally and how many of your friends have been locked up? I doubt any.. youtube already has copyright restrictions and now license(s) (whatever the hell that means) Streaming gone would make the web useless for many.. And im just talking I dont know that I believe this garbage

Didn't they try to push this shit last year too? I vaguely recall a similar thread last year about something like this.
