I agree, any added animation is better than not. What ever happened to individuality? Not that I totally hate the anal perfect hardcore realistic approach, but it does kinda all seem to blend together. Nobody really stands out and it looks like when the 1 or 2 tricks are landed they just set the controller down and pat there self on the back. It makes for fast turn around time for a video but time spent on creativity and animations makes you stand out.

i should not add anything about that sketchy landings discussion, throwaways... but i will. ingame there are infiinite ways to land sketchy/sideways, only 1 or 2 ways to land clean.
S3 has the worst sketchy landing animations imo...
oh and thankfully yes there are many skateboarders landing everything clean / straight irl.

When you make realistic vids, it's not a matter of accumulating realistic factors until a video is "realistic enough" to be considered "realistic".
A video either has a realistic sense / feeling or not.
I personally didn't feel this video.
