Btw, hows the manual focus thing working for you?
How about having the skater on focus when shooting him while moving?
I'm aware shooting with them in low light might be tuff because of the f3.5 top aperture. The worst part is that my camera doesn't handle high ISOs very well.
That's sick that you'll get one man, so fun to use.
The manual focus seems to be working alright for me, it's just that the lens itself is fully manual, so i have to set the aperture and all the shit using the rings on the lens and stuff, but after a while I figure out which settings look decent and what not lol
I've tried filming with it though, and it's a blast, much more enjoyable than shooting photos imo. I wish I had some good people to film on a daily basis..

Uggghh that's the problem right there. I don't really know if my camera will work with a fully manual lens. For example, with my 50mm, I have to set the aperture down to f22, so the built-in computer handles the aperture settings, I can't use it fully manual, it doesn't work.
I should start checking nikon forums for more info.

EDIT: Ambrotype-esque filter done on my cat's picture. Just for the lulz
