    Default EOS 600D / T3i Test video

    As you might know, I just got this camera and I wanted to play a bit with the video mode.

    To me it's still a bit grainy, I set the ISO to [auto] but maybe I should've set it manually.

    it's always best to learn what everything is used for, so you don't have to set anything to automatic. Not sure if you know how different ISO settings work, but you should look into that Still a nice test though, looking forward to more videos from you

    I thought the following

    To put it simply;

    Much light (daylight, outside) - low ISO
    Low light situations - Higher ISO

    I saw the ISO was set to 1600 in some shots, seemed a bit to high for my daylit living room.

    And thanks

    Yeah, I guess shooting automatic when you first start is good in a sense that it gives you an idea/range at what to shoot at with different light. That's what I did at first and I still do from time to time, since I only started a few months back and hardly ever get the opportunity to shoot much because of school and work lol but keep at it man!
