i guess you could say the same map..
i mean..
i skated shit that never made the final...
i believe they separated the areas because of loading...
i remember the complaints about the spawn map in 1 and 2...
they wanted to make it so you could spawn anywhere and never get the scratchy load but that never panned out.

you also ave to remember that each game runs on a different engine...
so..
the way the entire game runs on the consoles was a new experience every time something new was added...

one thing im real proud of was getting the dev dudes to agree on making the character in s3 hallow and transparent...
remember in s2 if you cam glitched to 16 mm and got too close youd get the ever famous "ghosting"..
transparency fixed that...
stoked they got that to work...
