i played it...

s2 didnt have multiple styles because the team worked more on new features and ran out of time/resources to get other styles working before launch...

s1 would never animate like the rob big show because of how fast the controls worked and the amount of clipping/transitions/cpu issues that engine had on the console.

the xbox lack of hdd might be the achilles heel of the the entire series..

it took bb months to get the approval of dan drehobls cigarette ingame...also the only reason s3 is rated m.

the irate comments and responses from the community is single handedly the reason why many of the original team left bb and the franchise entirely...

bb has never been in control of what products that were featured in the game...

more people play HOM than than any other feature...

every skate game has over 20+ popular famous canadian skate spots...

the entire create a park feature was created in only a few months up to launch...

tiger woods face mapping bullshit takes up so much resources and costs that it was canned before s1 was even released....

s3 in some regards to the og team is around 3/4 of what they wanted s1 to be...

i guess you could say the same map..
i mean..
i skated shit that never made the final...
i believe they separated the areas because of loading...
i remember the complaints about the spawn map in 1 and 2...
they wanted to make it so you could spawn anywhere and never get the scratchy load but that never panned out.

you also ave to remember that each game runs on a different engine...
so..
the way the entire game runs on the consoles was a new experience every time something new was added...

one thing im real proud of was getting the dev dudes to agree on making the character in s3 hallow and transparent...
remember in s2 if you cam glitched to 16 mm and got too close youd get the ever famous "ghosting"..
transparency fixed that...
stoked they got that to work...
