    Default capture device recommandations?

Ok so...I don't know if im gonna buy one, but i'd like to have a first look to these PVR devices. I don't want to spend too much but I also don't wanna have something so bad that it becomes useless once bought, what do you guys recommand? (ps: i live in france so id like to avoid too specific models, so i wont have to pay too much shipping)

It's all you need.. 135 EUR inc P&P & unlike the older model, this is 1080p Hdmi.

i bought the elgato game capture (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/main...tureHD.en.html) some weeks ago and i love it. it has got hdmi-passthrough and in all the reviews i read it was said to be better than the hauppauge in nearly every regard for the same price.

elgato seems great, small, hdmi all good.... but honestly youtube wont encode shit much different, the quality ive seen from both are basically the same shit..... i dont notice shit

i went with pvr cause it was actually cheaper, got tv and pvr for the price of the elgato, im happy with it

but believe me if i had the extra 30 bucks for the elgato i would of bought it
