are there any other ways of doing them besides holding down left trigger or right trigger? i've been seeing a few videos where they don't crouch in between the first and second grind, so i've been wondering if there's another way to do them.

it is hard to explain but if you pop onto a ledge that is the right height you can pop into another grind. i only know of a few around the city though. i did one at :26 in this video if you want to see what i mean

thanks man im gunna try that soon. but in the videos i saw they were doing them on things much lower then that and it looked as if they didn't pop at all. heres one of the videos that im talking about
he x's out of the grinds in a way that he lands back on the rail. you can't lock in that way though, it's like riding an ungrindable. he just dubbed it over with the game's stock grind sound effects.Originally Posted by xtremezoid
it looks like those were done by canceling the grind with the a or x button and getting the truck to land back on the rail.

...there was another way, using the grab buttons if i remember right.
get into the grind...slightly press one of the grab buttons so the skater crouches a little but doesnt grab the board...then a quick ollie and get into the second grind.
sounds easy but is hard as hell! i never really got those...

Im gonna go ahead and throw my hat into this ring. I had done a bunch and they are all sprinkled through my videos.
Point being I can do them, and I can learn you to do them.

That's how I always did mine, it works.
This thread got me thinking, cool. If you do grabs on flat certain ones give you more pop.. If youve ever seen tony hawkers do it you know it, quick and low 360 crails, seatbelts, mutes, tuck knees.. Sounds like some kind of quick enough to cancel the grab animation action. Ill have to try them later. I didnt mess with them till hardcore mode came around should be fun.
I was in the process of making a vid... go to EA, they are taking the reel down. WTF!
