On top of things I've said and people here have said time and time again, there's more to this. They've stated there will still be support for the 360 "far into the future," no backwards compatibility, and all this bullshit they're doing to make this a "home entertainment system" rather than a, you know, GAMING CONSOLE.

What they have effectively done is not only make me uninterested, but also give me ZERO reason to even want it. If the 360 will still be supported, then why get the new one? For pre-rendered videos of not-actual-gameplay? Doesn't sound like a solid plan to me.

(Since you said not to compare other consoles I won't, but for the record if I DO go next gen, it'll be a begrudgingly purchased PS4 for undisclosed reasons.)

EDIT: Can't wait for the Xbox one controller for my PC, though.
