Default My "portrait" art show pieces

Beings that this game totally motivated me to express myself artistically:

My brother has this space available to him. He has art shows there. It's nothing special, small, no heat. He has been wanting me to do a show for a while and asked me what type I would want to do. He wanted to have me create GC's live (he was one of few in the outside world that I shared them with) the GC is gone... I tried GTA I loved it actually but it is unreliable.
Anyway I said "portraits" I really really loved doing portraits in the old GC. I would of never have the confidence to do art now. So here they are:

    My first piece:
    Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV
    colored pencil, 9"12"

    My second piece:
    "Pondering"
Brown and white colored pencil on black paper

    My third piece:
    "Lance"
Black oil on 11"x17" drawing paper

    4th
    "Andy Rooney"
    Oil on 11"x17" canvas

    5th
    "Philip Seymour Hoffman
    Oil dry brush

    6th
    "Selfie"
    Oil dry brush

    7th
    "Chris Haslam"
    Silver pencil on black paper

    8th
    "Clay"
    Oil

This was my GC's from the weeeeek but RELIABLE s2

    Looks good.
You should do shows man! Just gotta keep calm and know that it's your work.
With something you envision you'll never agree with the feedback 100%, Obviously stay nice about it, your expression makes you happy right?
I believe that artists in every form: art, music, dance, video, etc. are always game changers and even if everyone hates what you're doing, no one else is going to do it like you. We're all different, We all bring something different. Use that, Keep going and great things should follow.

There's so much life in your portraits--like theyre about to start moving..amazing stuff.
My favorites are Lance Mountain and "the Clay."
Seems you've got a real knack for oil mediums; the brush work on the Rooney is fantastic.
