According to the video description, and multiple news sources, the park ranger told the kids to stop skating since they can't skate in Love Park (obviously) and because of children in the area. The skater refused to leave, and tackled the ranger (whose hands were up to show he had no intention to fight) to the ground and attacked him with punches, kicks to the body and head, and spitting on the ranger. The attacker taunted the ranger, as well as the kid watching the fight, it seems.

Since this video surfaced, Curtis Tanner, 19, confessed to attacking the ranger and has been arrested. The kid watching the fight, 17, has also been arrested. Both are charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and making terroristic threats. A third is planning to turn himself in (not sure if that is the guy recording the fight with his camera).

Really, really disgusting.
