MovieMaker automatically speeds up audio with the video, so if someone was to give me everything half-speed. I could do a 2X speed render of the whole set before cutting up to edit.
I could also do it in Ableton if MM was not doing it so well.

I don't use any one program on its own. Movie Maker is just good for me because my capture card auto-outputs to it, its really quick to cut up a stream of me going through the replays, and it has a couple of easy features.
Also, it never crashes. Once I have my goodies I use whatever is best for what im trying to get, currently using expression for image overlays but its abit buggy on my laptop.
