The two rail tricks sandwiched in the middle: sw shuv bs blunt and sw bs 180 smith. Those are the my two favorites. I remember doing them over and over and over until I got exactly the right arm animations. The sw shuv bs blunt is my own personal grail for knee bend animation with a cancelled arm animation while grinding and then finishing with the arm sweep. Must have taken me a day or two.

Thanks. That was a battle too. I specifically remember sessioning that rail to bank with Demz and Clay and they were saying it was impossible to gap and land in the transition. I'd never seen that spot before, but I love a challenge, so I went at it for way way way too long until it just seemed to magically happen. I remember it so clearly. I have to give the credit to Demz though. I never would have even tried unless he told me it was impossible.

the plywood on the stairs was great. the rail at 1:13! i spent a lot of time fucking with that thing. i had a clip there in Lazarus but you got it prettier (and way before i ever saw the spot). man, i missed a lot of good stuff back in '10 era.

Loop madness: I watched Burnquist do an upside down switch air loop whatever the hell and started looking for natural loops in the game. I tried in a different tunnel for several days and got nothing. Then I found that spot and loved all the graff and it was on. I knew that a loop alone just wouldn't say "Jack Barclay is fucking crazy" so after actually landing a loop (check the video, I have some ramps at the end of the tunnel) I pushed for something even crazier. Didn't land anything for a week because my character couldn't stay connected to the board in mid-air. He just bailed it and flopped on the ground. So I had to figure out a grab that made sense. Lo and behold, I started nosegrabbing and the board stuck with me in the air, but I still crashed on my head over and over and over and over again. So I added the half flip and boom. I landed it and rode away within an hour. It had to be my ender; my swan song. And so I said my goodbyes and walked into the ocean.

The only trick that was ever better was wallriding up The Darkness.
