he did jump the great wall without a warm up, hey hey

i like the part in the video that says too much flexibility get you hurt easier, too much stiffness is the same, guess you got to find a proper balance, maybe check if your standing stiff when landing, i use to get knee pain until i start crouching more when landing,

look at you skating, find the mistake and correct it ! voila

Also, I have watched every Mullen documentary out, and in atleast one of them (cant remember which) he talks alot about how he got injured and how he overcame it.

His approach to learning and trying things is to try and isolate a single body part that is throwing off the trick, and only concentrating on changing that one body part at a time until if feels right before moving on to the next body part if the trick still doesnt work / feels uncomfortable.

I was trying this recently with fakie (90 pivot) to 5.0 stall back to regular on QP, everytime I locked the truck in a would step off backwards, after watching on film I could see that it was my right shoulder (the one in front as I was fakie) was swinging too much so I couldnt stop its momentum. Pulled the shoulder in and it felt alot better, something I wouldn't of thought of trying without hearing his method...

Well, I Went back at it this morning.
I did feel some stiffness toward the end of my session.
Began slower than usual though and no back pain.
Started doing boneless to judo plants trying to get finger flips out haha.
It throws me into a slight manual so not sure how I'm landing.
Lot of boneless variations, taking them higher slowly.

Rodney has an awesome way of explaining skateboarding.
He should though, practically invented it.
I love interviews with skaters. There was a few with Richie Jackson I had never seen with "The Illusion."
Theorizing on aliens, work, relating everything to skating haha.
    Pleasantly strange like his skating.
