I appreciate the help with the cams. That seemed to be one of the big things holding me back.

    Beasty,

The thing that Mad said that helped me the most was to use less keyframes for a more smooth camera.

Here's my process, in order to get the above results.

    1. Establish two or three main keyframes.
    2. If needed, add a keyframe to accent the flow of the clip
    3. Tweak the keyframes so that the shots line up extremely smoothly. (Angles, etc)
    4. Replay the clip over and over until you are satisfied with the result. Don't be afraid to scrap your original angle and start over if you don't like what you see. (You'll know a good edit when you see it.)
    5. Remove all watermarks before uploading.

I also play around with zoom, considering that I don't like the standard 24mm default camera setting. Sometimes I'm at 10mm, and sometimes I'm at 75mm, it's a matter of personal taste.

Also, the skating has to be pretty damn good to boot. A well polished video full of nothing but kickflips is still a boring video.

    Hope this helps.

Mad, feel free to chime in any time.
