So, yeah. I wrote something about in the preorder thread, but I think this deserves a separate thread.


The deal is...

At the EA site, there's now a PREORDER button.
Click it, and it'll take you to the Gamestop site.

As of now, it says the shipping date is 3/3/'09.
So we can only assume that that's the release date.

Personally, I'm disappointed; I was hoping for a holiday release this year

It better be holiday release. But, even if it isn't, atleast we have some games to hold us off (personally I'd rather have skate2 still).. this dates been known for a while...and just remember that there really is no release date yet

gamestop puts release dates on many games that end up not even being close to the actual release, so don't go jumping to conclusions just yet

however, i personally think it'll be released around this time (1stQ '09) so you never know...

I was actually thinking that a Holiday release would happen but, EA doesn't even have a mockup for the replay editor so IDK.

not at amazon i recently read that they are starting to ship games to they get to your house on the date of release, but of course you have to pay 5 bucks extra

The UK site that I pre-order games off (http://www.play.com) almost always ships the game a day or two before release, sometimes earlier so if your lucky you get the game early.
