Default What are you listening to?

In the grand tradition of classic forum threads.

I'm listening to a fecking boss compilation containing such greats as Demented Are Go!, Flatt & Scruggs and Credit To The Nation.

So then off you go, what are you listening to? Hmmmm

On the subject of traditional music Mr Stoked, did you know that Ronnie Drew of The Dubliners passed away recently?

    The Everybodyfields

    Good local roots style stuff.

Corrine, check them out, I KNOW you'll like them. Listen to Everything is Okay first, it's my favorite right now: http://www.myspace.com/theeverybodyfields

Also, check these guys out and listen to Murder in the City first!

They're local as well, I love my area.

A Stoveboat - New Bedford. They're a weird two piece from Rhode Island. Kind of pirate themed.

Flux Information Sciences - Private/Public. Good industrial music. A good band that like all good bands has broken up.

I've been listening to the new Silversun Pickups album "Swoon" quite a bit lately, other than that I've been listening to Emmit's "Milli" quite a bit.

If you're into that kind of stuff you should check out a band called Amon Duul II. The track Eye-Shaking King is amazing. Kind of prog/psych rock.
