JUST CAUGHT ANOTHER VIRUS.... LOST MY FILES ALL OVER AGAIN.. The only thing I didn't get was Hitman's extraazzz clips for the Hostile full length.. and im praying i backed up quetonto's files. im almost scared to check my external hdd..

This thing was cold blooded. it's called virCRYPT.. it adds an extension to all your files called virCRYPT so that none of them can be accessed.

How did i catch the virus? downloading an id3 tagger to embedd album art into music. got the WRONG file and BAM..

I never catch them as in I rarely catch viruses. I'm too precautious.. You know what the shit I meant..

I Scan every file before I install on my computer..

The file doesn't fall under the "virus" category... Already did my research on it. There was only ONE tool.. ONE tool that would get rid of the virus and it cost 30 dollars.

I feel you man in the last two months i have gotten 3 viruses. 2 which completly wipd my hardrive of everything. luckily my uncle used to work for a computer compony so i turned him loose on my computer and he got rid of everything that was infected. I also found out i got the viruses because my antivirus expired. i didnt know it had an expiration date.
