    Default Ghosts?

OK so me and my brother 3 years back or so were taking pics of how big these snowflakes were on christmas eve. They were like big as your fist big. None of the other pics had this smokey mist in them and at first we were looking at the mist as a whole, kinda looks like a dog or animal face of some sort. But then like at the same very insatant in time we saw the face in the upper center little to the right of the pic. I showed a lot of people this pic at the time, some were almost pissed about it like my Dad for some reason, like we did something wrong by even thinking it was a ghost. I am sure there is some logical explanation for it. But I cam across a ghost pic today and remembered this one, I think its better than most ghost pics but I thought I'd share.

I took this picture in my bedroom about three months ago at around 4:00 A.M. I couldn't sleep and was just taking open shutter pictures, leaving the shutter open for about 20 seconds or so. None of the other pictures have this in it, they're all clear and exposed perfectly. This one however absorbed no light in the room and only from the window... As you can see, there is a VERY CLEAR face at about head level (that window is about 8 feet up high because we have vaulted ceilings.

Here is a close up of the face:

I adjusted the exposure a little on the close-up so you can see it more clearly.

Our house is brand new, so no one has died here, but we do live in the heart of Cherokee Indian areas. I seem to have this problem with Orbs as well, they show up in probably 1 out of every 5 photos I take and a lot more in pictures that I'm in.

    Here are some examples:

Those two were taken on top of this mountain in Boone, NC that has an old Firetower. About half a mile away from the tower in the woods, we stumbled on a cross in the ground that said Robbie Burns (A full name). So, I'm assuming the orbs are caused by Robbie... whoever that is. Here's a picture of the cross:

...and of course my friend's have to try and piss of the paranormal:

For the hell of it, here's a good picture I got that night at the fire tower:
    and another:

In conclusion, I really do believe in ghosts. I have experienced way too much paranormal stuff to not believe.

    I'll say

Paradolia, artifacts from over exposure, flash ect

The fact that many ghost photos have been debunked, and then replicated using the above methods.

I've always been amazed how people can look at something so unambiguous, and jump right to it being a ghost. There are so many more likely and logical explanations, and so many ghost photos that have been explained, debunked and then re-created. Its amazingly very easy to create "ghost photos" if you know what you are doing, hell, why do you think all these ghost hunter websites tell you to use a flash?

    Common sense people...Logic...Evidence...Anyone....Bueller??? haha

None of the ghost/orb pictures I posted were using a flash. I was leaving the shutter open for about 20 seconds in the one with the face and the orbs for about 8-10 seconds, no flash. The camera was on a tripod, which is what's weird about the first one because nothing is in focus, as if the tripod was moved or the lense was going in and out of focus (which isn't possible unless you have the focusing manual, when the shutter is open).

I had no intentions in creating a ghost's face in my photos...

I know people see faces in things a lot, but the face in my is more skull like and it's quite detailed. No smoke in my room and no lights where on to cause that smear of white below the face.

well about the 9/11 thing. People tend to look for a face when they look at stuff... You can take almost anything you see outside your window and turn it into a face.

your faces are made up from such simple shapes that anything can be a face.

I fer sure don't believe in ghost. Tho after watching a scary movie, i'll be a bit jumpy but i know that it's defiantly not real. It's all in your brain.

you see and hear what you want to see/hear.

Getstoked i'm sure you expect to see ghost so much no wonder you think ghost are really. + You live at a pretty creepy place. Those Orbs you may see are defiantly lights reflecting other things or the camera itself causing blur and shit in the picture. Nice view though.

but really. why would anyone bother to stick around and bug some dude.

    Yes.. Haha Ghosts.. pshh
too much entertainment I'll say.. I was just about to post that it's probably
the flash of the camera hitting the fog.. from a car, your breath, anything...
How can something exist and be opaque? If anything ghosts are people
with mirrors attached to them, with cameras that record and project the environment around them onto the mirrors making them appear invisible,
but that's silly who would do all that.. oh wait.. entertainment..maybe?

edit: the skull things neat.. not a ghost.. that's like calling a cloud a ghost
    silly game.

do i believe in ghosts? not really, I did have the lights turn out on me once after my unc died, and i went to yell at my brother about it and when we came back they were on. oooooo scarey, that cud be a lose bulb. Do I think this pic is a ghost? NO but even a random mist or fog which there was none, would still deserve a look. If you look at the shading on the face even is correct. Like the light source and shadows are the way they shud be. And I have seen many ghost pics and this one is I think better than most. Like I said I just came across it and thought id throw it up, guess it did spark interests a lil anyway

    Well that one made sense..
Nasa announced checking the moon for resources.
This has no basis, I see it now.. funny, looks like a stencil..
Is there a tree or something behind it?
Wondering why it would seem more dense in that one area.

no above my brothers now 6th repo'd vehicle (white blazer) there is nothing but black sky. This fog/mist was not in anyother pic. I am possitive it had something to do with the cold or snow or moisture from flake melting on lens or something like that, but still it is pretty clear and like i said the shadows on the face are even correct. one in a billion coincident of events but still kinda cool

I stared at that picture for so long before I saw the face. I was wondering how the hell you loonies could find a face in there.
    Then I saw it.
Now I can't see anything else than the face. Funny when you think about it.
I'm high too so I dunno for how long I sat there staring lol

I don't think so how it could be. If this is then every picture which we captured could be consider a ghost.
    This is just superstitious talk...
