    Whilst it's great we get to play the demo, it's a shame it gets released at the end of my 2 week Easter holiday.

    took less than 24 hours for people to get out of the demo on skate 2.... funny part is how hard it was... to think, now, all you had to do was the no comply glitch.

    Yeah, there are some videos of short clips of the demo, it looks like it has no time limit. I think there is also multi-player on the demo..

    My first experience (it's already 1:30 pm here):

    • The demo area sucks ass. Boring as f*ck. There are absolutely zero interesting spots.
    • Hardcore mode is pretty hard. Especially the lack of grind suction. I jumped in between two rails which where less than 2' apart from each other. Also a 360 flip is only possible with enough air (almost not on flatland) and with the exact right flick of your thumbstick. The one thing I was sure of I was going to do, was kill every challenge on hardcore mode. Now: not so shure anymore.
    • Darkslides are pretty awesome, but pretty hard to do (in hardcore mode).
    • Underflips are awesome. Especially the pop shuvit + late kickflip variation.
    • Off-board physics have improved a lot. Everything is much smoother now. Controlling your character feels right now, not like in Skate 2. Also, you can now actually do a proper drop-in. Just stand near the coping of a ramp/bowl and press Y, while on foot. And last but not least: You can actually punch people in the face with your skateboard or your bare hands.
    • General physics have improved. Everything is smoother now. Bailing is awesome now. You can actually stumble out of a not-landed flip trick.
    • You can choose between High and Low camera (the same as skate 2) and between fish-eye (like in skate 2) or no fish-eye.
    • There is a 20 minute timer in the demo, but you can restart the demo at the end, with just pressing the A button.
    • The skate school is in the demo but it's optional. Also not the whole skate school is in the demo.
    • Body flips are disabled in the demo. And it's 100% sure not my lack of skill. I have played skate 1 and 2 for at least 100 hours. It just isn't possible.
    • The no-comply glitch is no more.
    • You can only download the demo via this link. At least here in the Netherlands, it ain't on regular marketplace yet.
