are there any good asian horror movies lately? i've seen the usual suspects (ju-on, ring etc) but they tend to repeat themselves.

any other good asian stuff you recommend? like old boy, battle royale etc.

i feel your pain man. since the ring and ju-on hit asian horror scene been dead.
but eventually you do find some golden nuggets that break the mould.

thanks for the recommendations, i'll look into those.

miike is on and off. i mean, he does like 6 films a year, direct to DVD, so it's obvious that not everything can be awesome.

battle royale 2 is horrible, switched it off halfway through.

battlefield baseball felt like a cheap knockoff off shaolin soccer to me.

i'll check out the rest.
