Potential fix for online connectivity (s3)
This doesn't seem to fix the uploading/ea nation issues but it fixed my problems connecting to online sessions.
Clear the xbox cache on the memory unit that your save game is on.
The newest update to the dashboard his the clear cache function built in, but this will show you how to get to the memory management menus.

good call Roc - clearing the cache can fix a lot of issues...

seems to be the fix for a lot of other EA online issues.
