    Default Does anyone here freestyle/rap?

A thread to get advice, start rapping, learn to flow, rhyme, share beats, feed off of eachother
if anyone else is into it that is..

Here's something I just came up with this morning

    Back Livin in society
the man who once was a tree
    Reincarnated
    from the trees
    please believe I was Lyrically
given a chance and to second glance made from leaves
    the animations so just
from the pixelated rust, the dust
eatin away at me I can't believe
    This
    So crazy
    I've made my own theories
come up the world not born to be born
    but
born to be scorn, a thorn
    in the government's ass today
    The Lyracism Terrorist, at best
    What a way,
    To Be Free.

I'm in a thrash band and here are some lyrics to our song "Blood On My Skate"

"Fucked up skatin' through the night
Bombin' hills till dark turns light
Slammin'' beers we hit the streets
Hit the ground and break some teeth

    Too drunk to stand
    There's blood on my skate
    I fell down again
    There's blood on my skate
    Dude I'm so fucked
    I can't feel my face
    There's blood on the ground
    And blood on my skate"

I know this isn't anything close to what you asked for, it's way awesomer.

Well it's very repetitive for a rap haha
but as a thrash band it's good..

the only rap ive ever written:

When I first started skatin bout 7 years ago
All there was to know was the mainstream status quo
Once I heard of Rodney Mullen my creativity starts to flow
My very own brand of freestyle starts to grow

Its all good if my tricks aint got pop
cuz damn straight my fipideefloos flop
Thanks To Mullen Im addicted I cant stop
oldschool, thats the style I drop

I chill out, I set myself free
I dont care what you want me to be
One things for sure, I skate for me

Just go out and do what I like
Dont care if im getting it right
One things for sure, I skate for life

    360 boneless, no comply shuvits
1440 manual spins, you gotta love it
Sure, I catch my kickflips a foot undrground
But you know what I found, this kinda shit is profound

You see I, dont skate for the money or fame
And I, dont care if tricks are ugly or lame
I Just do my own thing, for the love of the game
its one in the same, (it's a desire)
that can never be tamed, refrain

Yeah I listened to that on your tube haha
that's cool man I dug it..
I don't think I could rhyme skateboarding though I'm so far underground with it I just name things that probably exist.

It's like the scene around me is so competitive little kids will come up to me and dog on me so that kind've pushed me away from skateparks I just try to find spots whenever I do skate.

I used to make hip hop music in my late teens/early 20s. Mostly instrumental hip hop, downtempo, lounge, trip hop, whatever you want to call it. I have a few songs where I'm on the mic, but I never really considered myself an emcee and definitely didn't have any serious freestyle skills.

You can check out some of my stuff HERE! 'Go' is the only song up there with me on the mic.

I find it incredibly tough to translate written raps into spittin' raps because so much relies on cadence/flow/vocal timbre/word emphasis/etc. So to be honest anything looks (and 'sounds' in my mind) kinda boring until someone breathes life into it.
