    Default Converters For Macs?

    Does anyone know the best converter for macs, i need to know cause im getting a mac for christmas this year so i want to know, so please hit me up.

    I use mpeg streamclip
    it's for mac & windows (free)

    I also have Xilisoft Video Converter (bought it but use the other one more lol)

    yeah mpeg streamclip all the way. works really well. easy to use.

    btw use these settings:

    Compression: Apple Intermediate codec
    quality: 100%
    Frame Size: 1280 x 720 (no point going bigger with skate.reel clips)

    then in your final cut make sure you're working in 1280 x 720 HD. then you should be able to edit your clips without having to render first

    straight up Im gonna have to try that next time... Ive been afraid to use Apple Codec for some reason... I wanna not have to render, thanks for the dope tip

    that's exactly what I do too
