fucking love doom, his production is great. felt a neat "dont fuck with me vibe" from that one. I've just gotten into him and I've barely scratched the surface but I've yet to find a track that I just don't like.
speaking of people who do their own production, aesop's new album is fucking cool. this one's just about some stories from his childhood
ps long time no see fluckit, fuck i was a cancerous wee lad back when this place was in its heyday

I liked that one but the vocals weren't really my kinda thing. pretty good nonetheless tho
this band includes a buddy of mine who I used to play in some school bands with. they've done extremely well locally and just finished touring nz with a band from another town.
i went to one of their gigs recently and realised that their following around here is crazy. people go fuckin nuts seeing them live. some kid put his fist through the wall and another jumped on the drumkit and busted the snare but they just kept on playing through it.

I like that it's a bit of mix of hardcore and progressive.. I did not expect it to get a little progressive when I started listening. I do really miss any power though, there's almost no energy in the song..
while we're on the subject of local bands and mix of genres, this is a band of 3 of my friends, they aren't big in any way but I thought this song was quite good and the recording isn't bad either.

Yes You Can!
That was good. Definitely room from growth but the talent is 100% there. This is the type of music that definitely benefits from a wider array of instruments and sounds and I can see them heading down that path. Will surely keep an eye out for these guys.
One of my favorite bands out right now. The title track from they're second album releasing this month. Such a step up from they're last one which I thought was impossible to do.

that was really cool, gonna start listening to more of their stuff. seems kinda similar in some way to Mac Demarco and Tame Impala but definitely still a unique sound.
safe to say this one here is probably one of my top 5 favourite songs ever

well who doesn't know that song from the police! personally not a big fan of the police, but you definitely have to recognize that's a hit.
this is one of my all time faves. the whole record is incredible.
