I fucks with Yung Lean, I love his shit. Never really got into this song though, I might have missed it or something even though I've listened to the Unknown Death-mixtape a lot of times

This dude was on Graveyard's first album and last year he joined the band again. Just found out that he also released a solo album last year so I'm bumping it right now really hard. This is one of the songs from the album.

was never a fan of graveyard.. I did like this better, not really my thing though.. Can't help but feel his voice is better justified on a harder rock band, it's quite unique..

here's a band from my favourite drummer, they're quite new.

To everyone else: The next song is still up for the grabs if anyone else wants to rate my song and post a song themselves. DON'T LET THIS THREAD DIE!

I liked this song more than I liked any other song I've heard from neutral milk hotel. A couple of buddies of mine are big fans of 'em. Me not so much.

I've been getting hyped by valley of the sun's new album, this was the first single of it.

Even for something thats not really on my music radar for lack of a better term I rather enjoyed that. The visuals definitely got me into it.

Just a little something I discovered today. So much going in the music world. Hard to keep up. Even harder to actually decide what to post.

fucking love doom, his production is great. felt a neat "dont fuck with me vibe" from that one. I've just gotten into him and I've barely scratched the surface but I've yet to find a track that I just don't like.

speaking of people who do their own production, aesop's new album is fucking cool. this one's just about some stories from his childhood

I liked that one but the vocals weren't really my kinda thing. pretty good nonetheless tho

this band includes a buddy of mine who I used to play in some school bands with. they've done extremely well locally and just finished touring nz with a band from another town.

i went to one of their gigs recently and realised that their following around here is crazy. people go fuckin nuts seeing them live. some kid put his fist through the wall and another jumped on the drumkit and busted the snare but they just kept on playing through it.

I like that it's a bit of mix of hardcore and progressive.. I did not expect it to get a little progressive when I started listening. I do really miss any power though, there's almost no energy in the song..

while we're on the subject of local bands and mix of genres, this is a band of 3 of my friends, they aren't big in any way but I thought this song was quite good and the recording isn't bad either.

That was good. Definitely room from growth but the talent is 100% there. This is the type of music that definitely benefits from a wider array of instruments and sounds and I can see them heading down that path. Will surely keep an eye out for these guys.

One of my favorite bands out right now. The title track from they're second album releasing this month. Such a step up from they're last one which I thought was impossible to do.

that was really cool, gonna start listening to more of their stuff. seems kinda similar in some way to Mac Demarco and Tame Impala but definitely still a unique sound.

safe to say this one here is probably one of my top 5 favourite songs ever

well who doesn't know that song from the police! personally not a big fan of the police, but you definitely have to recognize that's a hit.

Well I think that's the way elo should be listened to! Their albums are like musical stories that carry you across the fucking galaxy.

now this is the first remix of a classic I've ever liked, I always hate the remixes, they screw up the the way the song should be heard, but this one is very subtle.

I really really liked that song, it ended up in my Spotify-playlist! So I'll probably hear it a lot the next upcoming days

Band made by one of the guitarists from Hanoi Rocks. They didn't apparently reach that much success as Hanoi, but I really love this song!

sorry for breaking the rules of the thread fellas but i been wanting to do this one

pretty sure im like lowkey depressed or whatever, been going through a rough patch for the last few months but listening to these guys just makes me feel so good

I just sat there for a few hours 2 weeks ago listening to basically tame impala's whole discography and it distracted me from thinking about killing myself, and ive just found out I get to see them live in january so basically im fanboying super hard and im in a really fucking good mood.

Super glad to hear that Tame Impala could help you like that, I myself like them a lot too. And that song is really nice

I only know like 2-3 words in french, but somehow I just really really love french rap. And the beat on this song really grabbed me, so yeah.

pretty sure I've seen some dg posted in here before but can't be bothered going back to see what song it was. this is one of my favourites from them

I fucking love that song, that was the one that got me hooked on Death Grips! "I fuck the music, I make it cum! I fuck the music with my serpent tongue!"

This was nice, never heard of this dude before. I liked it a lot, a sorta lo-fi take on 80s music or something.

Been listening to this man for quite some time, I love the fact that he makes such authenic soul music in current time.

oh man, I love charles bradley, has so much soul and he is such a gentle and loving man too. Gotta say this song isn't his best though, hadn't heard it before, but I really dislike the guitarsound, feels empty.

I really wanted to share another song from young 40 but couldn't find it on youtube, so this one'll do. If you like it, then you'll definitely like the rest of the album, dude has mad flow.

He was okay, it was chill but nothing really stood out to me in his raps. Might just be the song, I don't know.

Discovered this dude last week and I've been listening so much to his stuff. I found him through listening a lot to people like Carpenter Brut and Perturbator. So fun when you find someone you haven't heard before so their whole catalogue of music is brand new to you, I love that feeling. Been a sucker for a long time for this kinda retro electro/synthwave/whatever you wanna call it.

pretty sure I've heard that one before, it's good. at some point earlier this year basically all I listened to was outrun/dark synthwave stuff and I think I listened to some of this guy's stuff. I liked how it calmed down a bit at like 1:15 and built up again

    cool, catchy, I like.
listened to a bit of eurobeat type stuff when I got super into initial d last year

this is a band from nz that's been growing really well recently, they just played a festival that I went to alongside tame impala, clams casino, glass animals, car seat headrest, tycho, and a few others.
