anyone picking this up? its gonna be super sick! they are going back to the original 2d play but with 3d graphics like ssf4.

24-26 characters are confirmed with 2 available for dlc i think ( the PS3 has Kratos as an exclusive add on)

Whatever happened to the movie that was suppose to come along with this?

If the controls are exactly the same as MKII I'm going to love this game. The blood on the characters and fatalities look great.

3D looks with no 3D movement.. is that an MK first?

yeah im on ur list ant... well definitely play; im getting it first day just hit me up.. and yes the controls are the same but a little different. instead of high/low punch and high/low block/run its going to be right left punch/kick block and zray/special i dont think run is going to be in it.. the 3d is just background and characters are rendered so its 2.5 D like super street fighter 4... other than that its just like the old school mk2 and mk3, it just has a deeper fighting system to allow you to make custom combos from anything.

oh and scharkey that movie trailer on youtube is actually being made into a live action online series with the same actors.....
