Guys we have a problem...
I have everyone's clips yes... I was in the middle of editing. The video was looking great I promise.
BUT...just today my Vegas decided to not open anymore. It has stopped opening. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it 6 times. Nothing. If anyone could tell me why Vegas will not open then that would be great.
Sorry but this video will have to wait until I get Vegas back. FUCK.

That happened to me before; did you turn on your antivirus software (or get new software)? It could have removed something critical without you even knowing. If so, you should be able to check the history and create an exception. If not, just download vegas again and reinstall.

Briden I tried reinstalling it 6 times. It is not opening. I'll try more tricks to try and get it open.
If you have absolutely no clue whatsoever what the problem is.. there's always the option of System Restoring to a date when you KNOW it worked.

it works fine, the only thing is that everytime i open it it asks for a new key, because "the one that you've committed isn't correct".. and then i just fill in a new one, and it just works again lol..
If nothing happens, i can take that huge thing for edit. Just let me know. But i guess you want edit it yourself ?
i just downgraded from cs5 so its definitely out there. im on mac though so that could be it.
cs5 is easier to find too. pretty much the same premiere/ae wise.
that would be also be an AWESOME solution if brick would take the edit over for you! =D

if this is going to come out any time soon. Me and Oddy agreed that Wiltz can do the edit.
Marco i know its either gonna be a while before you edit or someone else is gonna do it, but i was looking at my mega upload and it said only 1 of the 4 was downloaded. Just wondering if that was right or not.

Let's trouble shoot it marco..
what are the issues with your program?
are you unable to open it by itself, or just when you try to edit THIS video?
If it isn't opening only when you edit the video chances are you got a "bad" clip or something..
My editor does something similar to this.. that's why I've made a habit of editing it all in one sitting.
not sure if it will be the same for you.. but try to do this.. don't save it bit by bit.
If you don't want to leave the computer on there is a nifty function called "Hibernate"
It will Shut your computer off but remember everything you had open.. it basically resumes.
If it doesn't open at all..
I recommend trying;
To reinstall it, from the same place you got it last time
or even try to reinstall it from a different place.
If neither of those work.. you could try using google to search for your problem..
not even kidding.. it has even helped me with issues at work.
