Default (new pics) SG's Custom skateboard decks

So I'm making custom decks if your interested. They are printed vinyl then laminated. Resolution is pretty much photo quality. It's basically a sticker so I have no idea how it will hold up. It's what I wrap cars with so it's strong and will last.

$50 plus shipping. They look pretty dope, real glossy, they would make a nice art piece.

The story behind the white one
Guy skates here since 80's and he only has 1 arm. Goes by "one arm bandit"

All the black area has his name repeated

Stack of decks, the stack to the left has longboards and old school shapes

Made this logo, repeated in black says "we're not here to fit in, we're here to stand out" (there slogan)

looks pretty cool, you should try testing it, all stickers i've had have come off, i'd be very interested in some sort of custom graphics if i knew it would stick.

Oh I guarantee they'll stick. My concern is that it will rip up after grinding against anything and it will get sticky

I'm intrigued. I have a couple ideas floating around my head but I have to make sure my money's right first. In the meantime.. what the requirements? What kind of Photo/Pic do you need or are you using original designs based on our input? If img's are requested, what min and mix dimensions and that sort of thing.

I need to research these ideas.

I'd do some design shit for some of you guys. I'm just not doing stuff for all the little kids going into the shop (if the shop is even there, it's in the area that got hit by the tornado 30 minutes after I left last night)
As far as files go, I honestly lose very little resolution. If you zoom in on your screen and see no pixilation, you won't see it on the board. They're blanks so I can get most common measurements.

I have a few ideas, maybe "pawnluv" with my guitar again or something, I'll have to measure my board, I'll get back at you. Definitely interested though, would be nice to support your shop.

printquality looks great, but you need to test it to see if it affects sliding in any way. do some boardslides on diffrent surfaces and see if it holds up, and if its more or less sticky than regular wood. maybe it feels like the slickbottoms from the 90s? take a pic of the surface after some sliding and tearing.

    like the hensleyremake too btw

I'm interested actually. I'm decorating my hall in the next few weeks and having a custom deck on the wall might be a great finishing touch!

Maybe a Team REIGN logo for old times sake!

No idea how much shipping to the UK would be though.

Shaydee, shipping here wouldn't be too bad, but we'd have to ask Mr Signguy to be extra nice and mark it clearly saying "present" otherwise you'll end up paying for the deck again in tax. Trust me, I speak from experience. If Signguy is willing and the slide effects turn out well I'm interested as hell.

    Amazing work Signguy.

    Peace

I don't care how I get it to you, if you pay for shipping I'm down. I'll check in to shipping overseas, Europe for the most part. I would have to guess the difference of the decal would definitely be noticed in some way. In time my best guess would be like if you raked a key against a bumper sticker on a metal bumper. Most likely would get sticky in some way. Will it be worse or better than screenprinted graphics? Probably last initially better, but in time it will look like any other sticker that I'm sure at some point you have had on the bottom.
I can get something that really resembles the slick bottom boards (floor graphic laminates) but unless I see a need to pay for a roll of that pricey stuff, then I won't do it.

If youve seen the Deck I had made for Magic, his original image was 4796 x 1772 and it turned out beautifully after it was printed

or maybe a collage of all the graphics and her name or something

yeah I could do anything, as far as the artwork goes... I can do something if you give me a idea, not to be a dick but I don't make much off of these and I have to do it during work hours so if you could give me a direction that would work best.

    Added some more pics
I have orders for a lot of these, some construction guy asked me what I was doing with all the decks when he picked his signs up, I told him and he ordered 6 to hang in his man cave.

I'd love to, a lot of my friends know I did it but haven't seen it. So most likely I'll get swarmed when I walk in the door.
Board is for second to last guy, last guy will be there too, and the Mohawk chic. 1990

these were unlaminated, they actually look really good, not as glossy, wouldn't hold up as well to skating tho

I bought 10 more of my little Kevin Harris Freestyle deck. I was thinking i'd sand off the graphic and send one out to you, still not sure what kinda design i'd want, but there's still time, they haven't even arrived yet.

    Shit these look great!!

Plus.... since I'm basically a poser who just cruises now, I don't have to worry about ripping up the laminate!
I'm going to play with some designs and maybe get one! Love this idea SG!
