Jesus... I'll try and sit down and compile a list sometime... But that's going to take quite some time. Between 1997 and 2001 I was at some sort of show at least twice a month, if not twice a weekend at the peak.

I can say with extreme confidence I've seen Less Than Jake 22-23 times, and probably every band signed to Epitaph or Fat Wreck Chords back when punk existed.

Oh, and Neil Young. Best show EVER.

Damn Deacon, you've seen way too many dope shows.

I've only been to 2 shows lol Some really really dope shows nonetheless. I've seen:
    Bad Religion
    Bouncing Souls
    Les Vulgaires Machins
    Twin Atlantic
    Envy on the Coast
    Fall of Troy

and a few more but I can't remember right now, some local bands were in those shows as well but never caught the names lol.

I was supposed to go see Thrice with a couple other bands in that show, and I was supposed to see Blink 182 tomorrow... and I was supposed to see Metallica as well like a month ago, but shit happened everytime. I wanna start going to concerts more often though, shit is mad fun live. I would've loved to see Hendrix definitely, and a couple more old school bands, and other bands that have broken up as well.

This thread is sick though, I can always come here to look for new bands to search up. Props Stevie

Nice thread idea, but im with don. I have been to like 2000+ shows in the past 10-15 years it seems impossible to list them all especially with being so fucked up like i used to. Id say some of the festivals like the coachellas, rock the bells, paid dues, warped tours that ive been to are the most memmorable. Also one of the best weekends ever i saw tool and isis like 3rd fuckin row then 2 days later was the mars volta and red hot chilli peppers. Miss that shit and miss shows in general, i dont go to them nearly as much anymore to the people talkin about thrice, i dont mean to make u jealous but seen them at least 20 times mainly back when they were good. lol ok im done typing! I wanna see some lists from other people

damn all you fuckers have been to so many.
i'm so jealous at your list deacon! rage against the machine, nirvana, beastie boys, public enemy, must've been some great concerts.
well, since i haven't been to any festival yet (shame on me), I can't really put down such a big list. I was sposed to go to pinkpop this year (kings of leon, foo fighters, a7x, alterbridge, etc.) but personal life made it impossible
I hope to once be the old fucker to have seen hundreds of shows!
    keep on bringing the lists!

@ stevie/boxer - lol. I'm old as fuck and have been going to gigs since I was a kid, so over the years I've seen a lot of bands. when you go to see a big band like RHCP/Greenday etc you tend to get decent support acts, so I often got see a lot of good bands I might not have gone to see on their own. For instance when oasis played Knebworth in the UK, their support acts were: The Charlatans, Kula Shaker, Manic Street Preachers, The Bootleg Beatles, The Chemical Brothers, Ocean Colour Scene and The Prodigy.

oh my I forgot the Prodigy! I saw them at Cambridge Corn Exchange just before they released The Fat of the Land! That was a good fucking show, man how did i forget that one.

Same with Linken Park at Milton Keynes, they were supported by: Inner Party System, Enter shikari, The Bravery (urgh). NERD, Pemdulum and Jay Z.

Fesitvals are a great way to see a lot of good bands, my dad took me to Reading when I was 12 and that was my first ever festival. It was an amazing experience plus i got to see a butt ton of bands. RATM were amazing at Glastonbury, I always wished I'd got to see them a smaller gig though. Maybe one day and I'll get the chance :-)

One of my fav gigs was Alice In Chains Rotten Apple and Would? were highlights of the show IMO.

Speacial mention to Minus The Bear - the were amazing live and was so glad I saw them at a small venue.

Oh and add The Clash and The Sex Pistols to the list of bands "I would like to have seen"

It was a very crazy experience. I was super hung over and the Rialto is a small theater (like a converted single screen movie theater). It was standing room only and security around the place was just a bunch of local skins. I was roughly about 5 feet from the stage when not in the pit. My ankle got rolled something fierce, but another friend wound up with a broken collar bone and arm. Strongest pit I have ever been in. They were with another local punk band called the "Toxic Popsicles". This was the same weekend another friend lost a ball on a nasty fall doing a boardslide on a 4 step rail close to where we were staying at NC State University. >_<!
