Right u guys probably don't even care but the Youtube film company has made a short mini film. They have only done 2 parts but for 750 quid (dollors) it was amazing!

The 1st was was awesome when I first saw it and it's still good.
Been waiting on the 2nd part for awhile and it's done well also.
The money involved is a bit off honestly since they have some
very high end programs from their normal work doing commercials
and such. Still the way they mix game footage and live action
filming is just plain fantastic.

My only real question is why did they go Pre-Episode 1 on the 2nd part
rather than continuing on.

yeh I totaly agree tbh! How did the 2 characters from part 1 escape the train yard? there r so many gaps that needs to be filled however through out the film each part probably has a budget and they probably couldn't do go over the budget!

As more parts go along, I going to wonder if there are any places that I may reconise from the game!

I so hope they don't got to Ravenholme as I'm shit scared of tht place lol

Part 1 = During Episode 1 simply because you have Dr. Kleiner making his public warning broadcasts.
Part 2 = Before the end of the normal game storyline since you see the Dark Energy Core explode at the Citadel. Guessing around Chapter 9-10 of the story due to the Strider activity is where Part 2 starts.

Hehe, they should be well past Ravenholme and Highway 17.

I'm not a huge fan of half life, but I can imagine I would have been if I had a decent enough computer to run it when it first came out, I played half life 2 about half way through before something fucked up and I couldn't get any further then too and my computer was 'top of the line' when that happened. (now my computer can barely run shit, almost every game crashes.)

It looks sick though, i'll have to watch these later, thanks for showing us.
