Well I have a Nikon D50 with a staggering amount of 6.1 mpix. They went out of production hella years ago.
Thing is, I could care less about megapixels and whatnot as I rarely do anything for print, and 6.1mpix is still good enough for digital publishing.
However; as you neatly put it, I WANT MOAR VIDEOZ. Can't stop thinking about how my cheap, dirty little 50mm f/1.8 could produce visual porn.

i know how you feel. I get the same feeling every time i snap something with the 35mm 1.8. like COME ONNNNNN
