I got some photos I'm about to upload soon-ish from some shit I took with my brother 2 days ago, maybe will be up sometime by tomorrow or something, whenever I'll have the time I guess
Shot this picture of the cat that keeps visiting my house for food and love, for my mom to use it as a wallpaper heh.

Loving the colors man. Gotta love Canon colors.
Gotta love that 8mm aswell. Fuck it, I'm kinda sick of just having a 50mm prime.
Thanks dude!
You should invest in a new lens if you're sick of your 50mm prime But you snap some sick photos with it, I love the focus on the cat and the really blurred background. I should get an adapter for mine... (by accident, last year I bought a 50mm prime for an slr, not dslr lol)
I will man. So far I have saved like 70% of the cost of those 8mm. f3.5. Next month I'm getting one for sure.
Btw, hows the manual focus thing working for you?
How about having the skater on focus when shooting him while moving?
I'm aware shooting with them in low light might be tuff because of the f3.5 top aperture. The worst part is that my camera doesn't handle high ISOs very well.
That's sick that you'll get one man, so fun to use.
The manual focus seems to be working alright for me, it's just that the lens itself is fully manual, so i have to set the aperture and all the shit using the rings on the lens and stuff, but after a while I figure out which settings look decent and what not lol
I've tried filming with it though, and it's a blast, much more enjoyable than shooting photos imo. I wish I had some good people to film on a daily basis..
rokinon 8mm f/3.5
haha! me too. Great filming lens.
Uggghh that's the problem right there. I don't really know if my camera will work with a fully manual lens. For example, with my 50mm, I have to set the aperture down to f22, so the built-in computer handles the aperture settings, I can't use it fully manual, it doesn't work.
I should start checking nikon forums for more info.
EDIT: Ambrotype-esque filter done on my cat's picture. Just for the lulz

First time really messing around with Photoshop... I completely removed the tree in back of my cousin so he can stand out more from the background. And for some reason, I seem to enjoy this cropping ratio a whole lot compared to the other ones I've tested lol
(Btw, the image looks better on that black flickr background, so click on the image to view it bigger )

Look at the back, all the banks. It's like a supercross rythm section, but covered in concrete, and made of banks lol.
Shit debaser, I like those pliks a lot. An old friend of mine used to take awesome street photography but it was usually of shoes or musicians.

Ordered a new lens last week, should be getting it this week, just in time for when I go on a trip with my sister for 4 days, a "Canon Zoom Telephoto EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III Autofocus Lens". Stoked
Bought this today...
Will develop my own shit from now on, since my friend has a lab in his house. Finally, I have a film slr, so happy with this.
nice agus! I dunno if you're interested but I might be getting 3 or 4 lenses for the ae-1 that'd I sell to you for insanely cheap.

Dude, let me investigate more about hows the imports situation going on in my country. I am interested indeed, since these lenses have a lil bit of fungus in it (despite this, got it for mad cheap, very good investment since the body is inmaculate).
Let me know more man, what lenses they are and all that, would like to get started in the film game you know, shit's magic.
AE-1's are sooo dope, nice purchase.
Thanks roc, i'm so happy with it. gonna take it to a camera shop to get it cleaned, and will purchase a couple of B&Ws.
Now, a picture of my new ride.
Dad's '81 Honda Express SR moped
I'll start working on this as soon as I can
Haha dope ride Agus! And that film seems really dope too, i'd like to try and develop stuff in a dark room, seems sick!
I'll probably post some new stuff soon, I was on vacation since friday and now i'm on my way back, took nearly 1000 photos during the weekend lol
Got my first ever film developed today.
