Teaching my dog...

been trying very on and off over the last year to teach my dog to skate. He likes it but will only ride if im on the board with him. Cant really keep him interested in the damn thing if im not on it. anyone else do this before?

my dog wouldn't even dare to get on my board, i just let him pull me on my cruiser ^^ he really seems to enjoy that

yea it took me a long time just to get him used to the sounds... scares the shit out of my wiener dog... he waits on the porch... haha

But it's no big deal, everyone gets used to it

@ casey, what kind dog are you trying to teach to ride the board?
dogs love to do stuff for their owners, and the pulling and/or skateboarding in itself is a reward for them

hes a mutt. i went outside to smoke one day and there he was. sorta just kinda kept up with me. not sure if he actually "gets" the board i guess. he knows we ride and if im there hes cool. but he always relaxes and just kicks back... i push. he sits.
