How do you figure active members means skate is dead?
New faces.. Sure some old players might be gone but how much more active has this community gotten around that time?
You can hold on to old memories but it doesn't make the forum less active.

That's the thing about inspiration from skateboarding right I've always found it to be a self thing you allow yourself to be inspired or you don't.
Inspiration drives skating, drives communities and keeps things going. Yeah?

mamba, don't know what community you're talking about but, almost everyday i get a new skate 2/3 video in my subscription box.. and almost everyday there are new videos submitted here. I sesh with guys online and there is much more activity on this forum then just 20 active people. that seems more alive than dead to me..

oh i was just saying it's a lot less active than it was, even from a couple months ago. 2 or 3 videos a day is nothing compared to how it used to be. i'm not trying to be negative, it's just reality. i don't think it will ever die completely, but even now it's a fraction of what i remember from the heyday of skate. i mean i have a cap card, but skate itself just isn't as interesting anymore.

Completely agree with you. Community is no where near as active as it used to be. But I thought at the rate people left S3 for dead, there would be hardly anything of a community left by now.

Good to see theres at leasta steady flow of vids still coming out.
