Indie s1 Full Length - Looking for participants.

Howdy people.

I'm in the final stages of finishing the Morphine Nation Full Length. With the loss of the s2 and s3 sites I'm editing what footage I have for each person and will be dropping that soon.

Any way. I have quite a bit of time off coming up over the holidays and since i've been using my PVR a lot recently and after seeing Pushes - Flashback video on skate 2, I thought it would be cool to make a skate1 indie full length.

I did a little test video the other day of how i would like it to look which is below.



It was to test, button cropping/screen ration (toggle button makes my OCD go into overdrive), camera switches, colour correction and a custom fisheye/vignette.

I'm looking for 3-4 people max to film a 3 to 4 min part each. Mostly realsitic tricks (I appreciate its a game so some arcade is fine to a point)

Rules are simple - PVR or HD Cap Card preffered but not essential Dazzle or EasyCap is fine, File format - M2TS or MP4,Two angles for each clip. 50% speed if you want it ramped.

Other then megauploading me the clips, thats it.

Tryout videos are not required - just leave your name if you are serious about being a part of it.

Anyone down? Deadline - 31st December.

Megaupload it fine so is sendspace, which I actually prefer.

2 angles per clip, so I can do camera cuts and if you want a trick ramped do the clip at 50% speed.

cool! my downside is the format type as I only seem to capture in AVI. Hope thts ok? I'm gonna get it the best quality I can but no way near as good as a PVR

ok cool. Only thing with AVI is that the file size is massive. you might need to compress it before you send it.

Well details are: film 2-4 mins worth of clips on skate 1 (not including the double angles) the double angles are so I can do camera cuts like in the test vid. Send me the clips via megaupload, and i'll do the rest!

Fuck I can add more spots if people are interested. might do it in two parts. Those that have cap cards and can send clips before 30th Dec and then do part 2 by the end of Jan for those getting cap cards and what not for crimbo

front, back or either side is fine, just not above tbh as it doesn't looks right.

thats nice man, but instead of doing camera chops on the clip can you just film the whole clip from both angles?

I intend to sync the camera chops to the music, along with the tricks and clips transitions.

Thought I would resurrect this thread. There are spots still open and I would really like to get this made. With the reel down now all my current projects will need to go on hold until its back.

I have clips from Briden and I have my clips. so 2-3 more people would be good.

What i can get with my dazzle. since you are gonna use real sounds, i guess its okay that i cant get sound to record. i have the same problem as mattyman, because i can only capture in avi.

but other than that, id be down.
