In the late 80's there was nothing cooler than waiting at the skateshop all day for the new VHS copy of a Bones Brigade video. Ban This premiered in St. Louis it was one hell of a event. No matter what you think of Tony Hawk his part was amazing for its time. The Bones Brigade was very influential to me and my friends for sure. And yes that's were OATS brigade got its "brigade" from. It was once going to be OATS army haha

I was five years old the first time I saw the Bones Brigade Video Show and Search for Animal Chin.

Nothing has ever touched that sensation. Being that young, and watching that team, I've never fallen out of love with skating.

I'll even PAY for a copy of this one. Just hope some form of reunion is involved. Maybe the original brigade at the Chin ramp?!

The most influential part of my skateboarding life was seeing the original Bones Brigade Video Show. I'd been riding skateboards for years before that (mostly my CAL 240 flexboard to slalom, 360's, etc), but after seeing the brigade in action and having just got my first legit pro model 10x30 deck I was hooked for the rest of eternity.

I'm interested in taking a dab into this history. I wish I had a better appreciation for the classics. Where can I watch this Animal Chin video and "Video Show"? I'll be looking out for this new one too. Sounds cool.

You can also torrent them up as well for *slightly* better copies.
I still want to buy the Powell Peralta DVD Box Set, but haven't had the extra $100+ to grab it.
