I'm putting up 1600 microsoft points to the builder that makes the best Love Park Remake.


The contest will have 3 judges that will personally skate every entree:

We all want to skate it, I'm giving you some motivation! I'll be looking for skateability as well as detail and scenery.
Love Park was closed to skating in 2002 because of the police, but it doesn't matter which era of love you decide to make.
To be honest the statue isn't as important to me as the rest of the park is, save your terrain for the real stuff.
The builder has complete control over how the park looks and skates, i'll be the final say in who wins though.
Community input however is strongly encouraged to help give opinions on how the remake should be and who the winner is!
Love Park has been made before yes, however the merge glitch opens up a lot more possibilities.

Here is a specific list of what im looking for personally:

- Skateability
- Fountain Gap
- Detail
- Foliage & Scenery
- Bump over trash can
- Dank Ledges!

I feel like there's been a few good love parks already, if you're throwing down that many points you should atleast do it on something new and different. Start a challenge for the Nike tunnel jam or something, Stoke plaza, I dunno, Marseilles. Love has been done.

Apparently the best way to deal with perceived negativity is to curse and be even more negative.
I love the idea of a contest, but why base it on a park that already has several great versions on the system you are holding the contest on?
Great idea and I love how you are backing the contest with an actual prize but lets get something new and exciting in the CAP realm.
We can't have the same few talented CAP makers doing the same park over and over for a few bucks.
Lets innovate and evolve.

well put spadedone. As a cap builder I was hyped to see a building contest come up again but love park is ABD. Like to death. Everyone was suggesting the same thing, just pick a more unique locale. It's not like anyone said the contest was stupid or anything. It's constructive criticism we're all at least over the age of 15 hopefully. I'm 21 myself so I'm not censoring criticism on something. Duece420 has always attacked friends of mine for being assholes when they were just giving advice, so when I saw this I was annoyed. At any rate, marseille could skate like marseille but itll never have the feeling, I think another try at the DC embassy should be in the works.

Actually negativity has nothing to do with the topic of what is being said. It only has to do with the content of what is being said.

If you ask me if I like your photo, and I say it is similar to another photo I have seen, there is nothing negative in my reply. If I said "that photo is absurd" then the negative connotation attached to that adjective would make it a negative comment or criticism. Not to be a dick but you came in really high and mighty, riding on a moot point.

I don't know. It's just an opinion i had.PLUS. Anyone saying that we shouldn't be able to voice opinions on it is defeating the purpose of a forum. No one is DOWNING it we're just trying to make things a bit more interesting. Maybe like most accurate rebuild of an east coast spot or even (dare I say it) FDR. I've been waiting for an FDR build since the game dropped.

Your reply *IS* negative and the majority of the ones here are as well. You (and I'll use this as
General and not Personal context) came into a contest thread and proceeded to tell the OP his
contest was not needed and he should do "X" instead. You added a confrontational and destructive
element to a simple contest thread, when all he is asking for is a better version of the Park that he
enjoys since he doesn't find the released ones to satisfy his needs. If you didn't like his contest you
could have simply left the thread or pushed your own agenda for a better version of "X" Park in
your own thread by putting up the cash and making your own contest. By coming into *HIS* thread
and telling him how he should run his own contest and use his own money you are being incredibly
obnoxious. If you don't consider being an obnoxious twit to be a form of negativity, then you seriously
need to learn some foundations within basic social interaction.
