i remember the first time i came to fluckit Signguy was joking about it saying it sounded like a part number for a car parts catalog or something.
everybody just called me m7 so i just went with it,spelled out 7,and that's where it is...still dumb.

My friends have always called me stevie (my actual name is Steef, a horrible name to pronunciate in English)

I've been a Blade Runner fan since seeing it in the theater.
It's been my favorite movie for the past 3 decades now.
I was such a nerd over it that a couple friends starting calling me "replicant" or "rep" for short.
They even had me a baseball cap made with replicant embroidered on the front.
So, when I started using BBS's, AOL, Sprint, Local ISP's, etc I used replicant as my email prefix or forum name.

Although, the majority of people offline just call me Bear. Since, that's my real name.

Legba is a spirit or deity found in various Caribbean and African religions, as well as Christianity. He is also found throughout European literature since the late 1400s ( After euro explorers had gained a better understanding of cultures on other continents).

This character has always fascinated me. He differs greatly from religion to religion. The voodoo version of Legba fascinates me the most.

Anyway, long story short; one of my father's friends called me a lil legba after I beat him in a few games. (in voodoo, Legba is a trickster; he may bless you or damn you if you pray to him...in some cases, he may do one after the other. So, my style of usually achieving victory in a game only after appearing to lose for most of the match/round is a good parallel)

The name stuck, & I made my xbl gamertag darklegba when I was 14 and never changed it. Before I knew it, I had friends calling me Legba, & the name carried over into real life. So now I use it just about everywhere online.

Oh, I also have the unrelated nickname of 'Legs', due to the fact that I'm 6.6ft tall and have long ass legs. So when I skate, its kinda like a giant pair of legs flicking a board around.

Not too interesting lol.
