if i remember correctly i think the harsh fan base was just the iceing on the cake.
im sure there were plenty of other in house issues that help curve the decision for the core 4 to leave.




-old school boards were considered but the engine and the board shape was too hard to balance in the engine so it was scraped...

-many of the npc are based off of popular players from the community....clays afro for example..

-making the trucks able to move ingame was such a huge strain on the engine and console it wasnt added...physics...

-the lack of famous american spots is partly due to the game being made in canada by canadians and also the fear of fucking up the size/shape of spots the team never got a chance to actually go to.
