Not really, most turn on the vig for close up single tricks and lines, but turn it off for long lens shots

And if you allow me to add, Fisheye/vigs on 16:9 footy looks GROSS. seriously. I respect people posting EA Skate videos in cropped 4:3, that simply looks better.
isn't the vig something from the past ?
I think it looks more realistic when close up's have vig and long shots don't. Reminds me of vx or dvx footy
