Yeah me too but I use mostly because of the bmx so it's really the same thing. Atleast the CAP system is 'good enough'.

Yea, true dat. I wish they kept the BMX, especially in Proving Grounds. Sim Mode + Lowering Skater Speed = Fun for a quick break from Skate. :P

Yes, but just with a modded game. There's this THAW-THEMOD file on the internet that allows you that, and to play created maps online. sesh and chat live with 7 friends online would be a fun thing to do actually.

You have to have the PC version of THAW, and then you can download the mod and it's as simple as moving files into your game's files. :V

This 'mod' thing is just a file, and you don't even need to replace other files, it has an installation setup. So you just click the icon, hit continue/continue/finish, and Voilá!, the game is now modded/hacked.

I used to have the OG dvd of the full pc release like 6 years ago or so hah but a friend of mind downloaded a DVDRip version and could still mod it so, if you find any good rip torrent, just download it I bet it will work.
