Yeah at EA I used to get a lot of heat for wasting my time playing video games at my age. I kind of see it as I can't believe younger dudes guys are wasting your time playing video games. 16-25 is the time of your life and I enjoyed every second of it.
Anyway this is a entire shitfull of old dads rippin at my annual Old Man xmas skate thing I put together every year.

I still could have a lot of fun on those minis. Great stuff man!
I don't really see what I'm missing out on.
^Meh, I can completely see where SG is coming from with that. But I always play when my days over, or before I leave the house to start it. And honestly, its a treat for me to have time at home for video games nowadays. Im not home much, and when I am Im either working on something (for work or school), entertaining a lady guest, or Im dirt tired and just wanna eat and go to sleep. Im stuck in the perpetual brokeness that comes with going to school full time & having a family thats far from wealthy (unlike everyone I go to school with...prime minister's nephews & shit lol.) So Im always grinding, trying to make dollars. That keeps me from living waaaay more than video games ever have lol. I cant even skate so much! (2 sessions a week, 3 if Im lucky!) I enjoy night life here and there. But yeah, I see exactly what ya mean. When I get off time, Im running around doing a million things.
Sorry for the verbosity.

I don't know man..
I had a single mother who raised me and my sister.
I've moved from Ohio to California to Florida and back to Ohio
and even in Ohio we moved around to 4 or 5 different places to live.
I experimented with drugs and drinks at a young age and I didn't get much from it.
When I was younger and now older I still don't really get it..
I could go to a coffee place and get a better feeling from a chai latte personally.
Loud things usually bother me but if it's for a good cause sometimes I'll go out to a show.
I just hate the thought of permanently losing something I could once hear before.
I've been pretty digital age lately.. Stream everything I need, Don't buy CDs anymore..
Everything I would ever need to keep me happy seems to be right in my own apartment.
It's hard to keep up with friends through it all. I guess I stopped trying to meet people.
No one seems to relate. I don't know maybe I'm just odd but I kinda enjoy the time alone.
Relaxing with a new game, getting lost in it. No problems to deal with. No Life related dramas.
Just me and a game for a few hours a day.
I wouldn't even say it's as bad as some make it out to be..
I found several ways to express myself through games Skate is one of the main things
but every game has the potential to be a video production or even just played however you see fit.
If it weren't for games I'm not sure where I would be right now..
I played games after being hospitalized, helped me cope.
If it weren't for my xbox I wouldn't have even tried to make music.
I started off Playing things through my headset and people dug it but said work on it.
The Tony Hawk Franchise is what Inspired me to skate in real life in the first place.
Maybe my perspective on life is a bit skewed but
So long as I have some way to express what I am Thinking and Feeling, It's all good.
Expression is a much more satisfying thing for me than going out to some party somewhere.
As far as I'm concerned this is the time of my life. Wife, Kids, House, Family? It'll Come later.
Fuck friends haha I've been through a lot and I can handle myself.
Inside got pissy about me not posting in here so ill do it...

seems like so many 14-15 yo's joined last year.. I generally hate my generation and all the shitty, arrogant and egotistic attitude that comes with 'em, I get where immortal is coming from. I'm 19, 14 feb 1993, valentine's day.. lol get that so much from girls, "awww that's so cuuuute, your birthday is on valentine's." Benefit from it is that my girlfriend pays diner haha
Did you just double post and quote yourself?
Never seen that done before haha
We should really think about doing a FluckIt In real life Skate Vid!
Not if someone else does the edit and to be fair that was a pretty huge project.
People drop footy around here so often we could easily get some people to do this
We could even do more than one. Use your phone if you havta.
The Oats Irl Vid made me think of it. Wouldn't be hard at all.
The more footage there is, the less we use for parts.
Make several videos if needed. Volume 1, 2 etc.
I don't know.. if anyone is into it comment and we can get all organized.
I would even enjoy seeing 2 to 3 people. I could throw it together if needed.
If not that's cool too it is mainly a forum about a game
Just thought it might be fun to see if we relate to how we play it.
I saw some relation in the Oats vid.
I'd definitely be down for that! I still gotta stack clips for a local shop/homey video, but I'm pretty confident that I can trow some in the Fluckit direction.
Also, on the topic of aged skaters: There's this dude I sometimes see at my local skate park (McCarren skate park, I think you've been there Antwan) known as Lurker Luke. He's 55, long grey mane with matching beard, rides an old-skool board, AND FUCKING KILLS IT! He spins on the qp like a ballerina and does the oddest blunt slides I've ever witnessed on the steep bank at top speed. He has very much inspired me and strengthened my belief that its possible for me skate into seniority. A hero of mine, in that regard. Truly.
