Really made me think about the Skate VS. Tony Hawk Comparison.
I'm all for the hype and spread of that franchise, it was fun back in the day.
I don't know that I can agree with that writer though.
They were saying that tony hawk somehow felt more forgiving.
For me that arcade style took many more years to learn.
I would even say the tony hawk games were for the hardcore gamers after seeing skate.
I still don't fully understand how to do everything in the tony hawk games.
It's a funny story but Project 8 on Xbox 360 had me and my friends attempting to play realistic games of SKATE.
We would skate in real life then go to my friends house.
A majority of the time we couldn't figure out how to replicate eachothers fliptricks.
The game had always been about shredding.
We got into the first skate game immediately.
My friends were soon showing me up there after.
