Hahah, guitar wanking is the perfect term for it! Yeah, I've heard of Gilbert sometime back in the day. I specifically like the way he tends to copy yet improvise upon the drum riff. Great wank. However, I feel that this thread is in need of some damn melody!

not sure what i think yet honestly haha, def have a different sound especially for dance music.
New album is out, its produced by john shanks(Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, Fleetwood Mac, and more). Even got Matt Chamberlian (pearl jam) on drums, Leland Sklar(legend) on bass, and also Dean Park's on guitar. Going to be performing on jimmy kimmel soon.

haha I didnt either but it kinda grew on me. dev pull off so many different styles.
sounds like trendy hipstery rock but not bad. the idea is kinda like ayreon. a shit load of people from other bands in one project.

Well josh won the guitar center singer/songwriter contest so his reward was to record a ep, but became a whole album. I've met him visiting guitar center in Nashville one day. He's real humble, very nice, puts a lot of soul into his music. Glad to see someone get a break when someone actual deserves gets a break
