yah im a HUGE gta fan. i've been part of a gta iv community ever since before san andreas came out. its called igta.com now. but yah im so fuckin stoked.
Love GTAm been playing PSone. I lovd the old top down feeling back then, plus the london add on pack was amazing. then GTA3 on ps2 blew me away with 3d environment. Vice city was cool, Lovefist! Kent Paul! 80's music and so on. I loved to massacre civilians to the sounds of Japanese boy and 99 Red balloons. Then San Adreas took itup a notch. Replay value of SA was immense. I spent hours looking for cars and then kitting them up in the custom shop, or getting a plane and flying over area 51 then having a dog fight with the planes that appear. Quality.
If thy bring any of that back i'll probably ruin my shorts.
It would be funny if they brought the push bikes back or included a skateboard or something.
This thread juss made my day im soo stoked now, i thought they had banned this game and stop the production of it or something like that. Im so hyped another game is going to be released. San Andreas had to be my favorite game of the series by far. Remodleing low riders and sports cars, taking over gang territory jus to give it back and take it again, picking up steet hookers then killing them to get my cash back haha. I wasent to fond of GTAIV tho the main thing i did was jus get wasted and try to drive around and ditch the police haha good times.

if gta 5 have a skate board we all TOTALLY have to do a community montage in gta 5

When I saw the link on twitter, I think I nearly collapsed. Been so ready for this game since a year or two ago. GTAIV is the only game I play constantly. Best game I played in ever ai think. So happy with this news. Can not wait. Sure to set the bench mark for games.
Lots of rumours been flying around for years on location etc. I so hope its a real world place. London and LA seem to appear the most. Pretty sure if they announced London I would need an ambulance. Although casting calls that were most likely for GTA5 seem to be West Coast oriantated.

So anticipated! I've been a huge GTA-fan ever since I first popped in my GTA3 in my PS2 on the release-day.
Played GTA since the first demo came out, in 1997 I believe it was.. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how much I can't wait for this game.
I thought this was announced months ago, guess all I heard was the rumor, but i'm still stoked.

This is the first news of it. BF, MW, and Assasins Creed all out within a month of each other. But GTA V wont be out till summer/late 2012. So I wouldn't be panicking

only reason why I can see it might be something else, The casting call is non union. Plus Compensation = Unpaid ???? that shouldn't be right.

Well bengrover "panick" more about all games coming out now. Some of us have bills to pay 60 dollars never looked steep until this holiday/new year... Too many games I want to own.

Hopefully it will be better than the shitfest that was GTA IV.
As for making the main character Irish it makes no difference to me.
San Andreas was the best GTA to me and I'd like to see it go back to that style.
I preferred it over the Saints Row series which isn't bad.
If I want to get my GTA-style Irish fix on, then I just pop in "The Saboteur" which fucking owns.
It's 1940 in German Occupied France and you play a pissed off Irish race car driver (Cheated out of the 1940 Sarrbrucken GP win by a Nazi Colonel) who joins the French Resistance to start fucking up Nazis.
The main character in the game is inspired by the life and exploits of William Grover-William.
He was a very colorful man who went from being a GP Champion (Bugatti) in the 1920's/1930's to being one of the main SOE Agents in the French Resistance before being executed by the Nazi's in 1945.

Everyone has their likes and dislikes. I found GTA IV to be a boring piece of shit.
The DLC for Gay Tony and Lost and Damned was decent at making the game stronger, but not enough.
The game to me wasn't half as good as San Andreas.
Hell, the story wasn't even as good as Vice City...

Fair enough, the only thing I wish gta iv had, that he didn't, was a lot more content, planes/bikes/more melee weapons.
Niko's story was the most i've ever been drawn into from a gta game, that's just my opinion though.
