that was my test when i got my pvr in 2009..
just make sure you REC in 1280x720p. and the Xbox output matches it.
as for Render settings. there is a video that will get you nice renders.. but you never said what program you use?

Ladd, I bought the HD PVR Gaming Edition. I've got some struggle with it though when I wanna power it on. It can take anything from first try to 30 minutes of trying, so it's not the most reliable peice of plastic around. I've also seen people on youtube having the same problems as I do, so it's not just me. But once it works, it works like a dream.
And Ayreon, sorry to say there is no advanced free cam in skate 1.

Looks good.. does the TV's darkness have any effect on what is recorded?
or is it all in video editing to raise brightness levels?
I actually do not know. Gonna have to test it next time I record something.
